D's Bar

Area : 900 Sq. ft.

The bar is an extension of the existing restaurant on the ground floor. The brief was to have an additional restaurant seating area with a bar counter on the first floor. The approach to this floor was via a very narrow staircase which was to be highlighted and given a character that would lead to the bar area. We have approached this bar with a more rustic palette. Using an exposed brick pattern for the bar counter as well as the parapet walls formed the elevation feature from the outside and inside. The bar counter is the visual center with seating placed around it with soft hanging lights.
